Luther has proudly lived in Manatee County for over 20 years. He served 12 years in the military with an honorable discharge, which instilled in me a strong sense of duty and leadership. He is an executive member of the Manasota Black Chamber of Commerce, a shop steward for the United Steelworkers, and the president of the Manatee County NAACP. His dedication to public service and community involvement has been unwavering throughout his career. As a volunteer with various local organizations, He has worked tirelessly to support our schools and promote community development. Luther's experience has given me a deep understanding of our district's issues and the collaborative spirit needed to address them. In addition to his commitment to public service and our community, he finds joy in several hobbies and activities. Luther enjoys bike riding with his wife, and they often explore the beautiful trails around Manatee County together. Spending time with his two dogs is always a highlight of his day. One of Luther's favorite hobbies is stargazing through his telescope. It’s a peaceful and awe-inspiring way to connect with the universe. Additionally, he enjoys online gaming with my family and friends, which allows them to stay connected and have fun no matter where they are.
