Communications Consent

By submitting any form on this site, you expressly consent to receive communications from Activate Pinellas (a project of Catalyst Partners Venture LLC) via the following channels:

  • Email: Weekly newsletter, event alerts, legislative updates, and action opportunities
  • SMS/Text Messages: Event reminders, urgent civic action alerts, and voter registration deadlines. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
  • Phone Calls: Volunteer coordination and event follow-ups, which may be made using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded voice
  • AI-Generated Voice: Some calls may use artificial intelligence-generated voice technology. You will be informed at the start of any such call.

Your consent is not a condition of participation. You may revoke consent at any time.

  • Reply STOP to any SMS to unsubscribe from text messages
  • Reply HELP to any SMS for assistance
  • Request to be placed on our internal Do Not Call list at any time
  • Request human-only contact (no AI voice) at any time
  • Click unsubscribe in any email to opt out of email communications

Communication Frequency

  • Newsletter: Weekly digest every Monday
  • Event Alerts: As events are published (typically 2-4 per month)
  • Urgent Actions: Occasionally for time-sensitive civic actions (voter registration deadlines, important legislation, etc.)

TCPA & Regulatory Compliance

All communications are conducted in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), applicable state Do Not Call (DNC) regulations, the FTC's Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR), and the CAN-SPAM Act.

Cookies & Site Analytics

We use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

  • Google Analytics (GA4): Tracks page views, session duration, and general usage patterns. Only activated after you accept cookies via our consent banner. Data is anonymized and governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel Analytics: Collects anonymous, aggregated performance and visitor data (page views, Web Vitals). No cookies are used by Vercel Analytics — it is privacy-friendly by design. See Vercel's privacy documentation.

You can decline analytics tracking at any time via the cookie consent banner at the bottom of any page. Declining will disable Google Analytics. Vercel Analytics does not require a cookie opt-out as it collects no personally identifiable information.

Data Security

Your information is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Airtable for data management and Brevo for email delivery — both are SOC 2 compliant and follow strict data protection standards.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify subscribers of significant changes via email.
