While formulating design projects at USF his focus and inspirations were priamrily related to our enviroment and Pasco County. He has conducted advanced research and written papers on Recidivism Rates Amongst Florida County Jails, Birth Defect Rates of Migrant Farmworkers Children in Central and South Florida, as well as Mercury Levels of Recreationaly Caught Fish in The Great Lakes.

Paul has lived in West Pasco since he was 2 weeks old, more specifically in District 4. The exception was when he attended USF for Urban Planning and Architecture. Even as a child he was a student of building and design. When not playing soccer he was drawing layouts of cities underneath his parents furniture. While formulating design projects at USF his focus and inspirations were priamrily related to our enviroment and Pasco County. Designing mixed use community centers and even renvisioning a modern offshore stilt home as major projects. Due to DEI related disparities and the competive nature of the program after 2 1/2 years he decided to shift focus. The interest of social beahvior changed his academic path and he pursued a degree Sociology. He has conducted advanced research and written papers on Recidivism Rates Amongst Florida County Jails, Birth Defect Rates of Migrant Farmworkers Children in Central and South Florida, as well as Mercury Levels of Recreationaly Caught Fish in The Great Lakes. Most recently leading the Wesley Chapel Boys Varsity team to their first District Title in 16 years. He spent 5 years there rebuilding the program which went on to win more titles. Over the years we have seen many changes, good and the bad. Our woods are being traded for asphalt roofs and roads. Our ponds are filled in to make way for storage units. Flooding and water retention is getting worse and worse. The population of our county has increased by 30% in nearly a decade. Yet our roadways look the same. He coaches his athletes to be proactive and not reactive. Always be on your front foot. Long term infrastructure and zoning policies are the common sense, proactive solutions we need. It would be naive to think that our population isnt going to keep drastically increasing. As a community we should think about what our landscape will look like in 20-30 years. We are the third fastest growing county in the entire country. Why is that? Have we created a target rich enviroment for developers? Are we selling ourselves short? In business when you have a unique product you can demand a premium. Even our natural resources like water are in high demand. Pasco has a rich and unique history. We can maintain that. Pasco also has a rich and unique environment. We can protect that. Common sense policies regarding new development and redevelopment can help us maintain our community identity and safekeep our agricultural and green spaces. The socioeconomic landscape will also be constantly changing. There is already a huge disparity throughout the county, not just in District 4. We cannot let progress be a detriment to of our neighbors who have been forgotten and have
