Stock Development has already begun advertising their new project to build apartments in Seven Oaks next to Sam’s Club. The land they want to build on is currently designated for retail/office. To build apartments the parcels need to be rezoned to allow for multi-family. The problem is the master plan for Seven Oaks designed this area as commercial for a reason and there is no need to rezone for apartments when Seven Oaks already has land zoned for apartments.
