A former Pasco County educator, Dr. Coward served as a guidance counselor at Wesley Chapel High School and Land O’ Lakes High School, working directly with students and families to support academic achievement, personal growth, and future success. Her firsthand experience in Pasco County schools gives her a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing students, teachers, and families today. Dr. Coward currently serves as a partner at Coward & Coward, P.A., where she practices law alongside her sister, Alfreda D. Coward, focusing primarily on criminal, family, and governmental law. She is also a proud veteran, having served as a Captain in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. Committed to advocacy both professionally and personally, Dr. Coward serves as co-founder and secretary-treasurer of One Voice Children’s Law Center, a nonprofit organization supporting children involved in dependency, delinquency, and educational matters.
