When I first ran for the Pasco County School Board, it wasn’t because I wanted to become a politician. It was because I wanted to make sure the voice of an educator was represented at the table where decisions affecting our students, teachers, and schools are made. ​ As a certified educator with a Master’s Degree in Reading Education , I understand that strong schools are built through excellent instruction, supported teachers, and decisions grounded in what is best for students. That belief has guided every vote I’ve cast, and it continues to guide me today. ​ Serving on the School Board has never been about politics. It’s about ensuring every student has the opportunity to graduate College, Career and Life Ready . ​ Education isn’t something I talk about only during campaign season. It’s been my life’s work. Every major decision I’ve made as a School Board member has been shaped by my experience as a teacher and by the conversations I continue to have with educators, students, and families throughout Pasco County. I continue to volunteer as a substitute teacher in our schools because I believe the best leaders stay connected to the classrooms they serve.
