What to know

Rutland is a St. Petersburg commercial real estate professional. She founded the Rutland Florida Gulf Group in 2015 and comes from a family with long Pinellas business roots. She was the first woman to chair the city's Development Review Commission and has served on the Juvenile Welfare Board. It is an open seat now held by a Democrat. She is endorsed by the Pinellas Republican legislative delegation and Sheriff Bob Gualtieri.
